The control software was developed in 1975 with the design goal in mind of being a modular and flexible control. By achieving this goal, the control provides the necessary tools for machine builders and end users to continuously customize their machinery and keep up with state of the art advances in the CNC Machining Industry, thereby remaining competitive. The Numatix CNC Control provides machine builders and end users an unparalleled advantage in their respectful markets! The Numatix CNC Control can be retrofitted on any CNC machine. All of our retrofits are Turn-Key Packages, all existing hardware and functions currently operational on the CNC machine will be incorporated and controlled by the Numatix CNC Control (Tool Changers, Pallet Changers, Rigid Tapping, and More), with no hidden costs. Over the years, Numatix has developed customized retrofit packages that are uniquely tailored to specific applications. These retrofit packages include, but are not limited to, the following: MAP-3 Specifically tailored for any 3-Axis CNC Machine application. MAP-3+2 This retrofit package is specifically tailored to convert any 3-Axis CNC machine to a fully capable 5-Axis CNC Machine by utilizing a 5-Axis Spindle attachment. MAP-4 Specifically tailored to any 4-Axis CNC Machine application. MAP-5 Specifically tailored to any 5-Axis CNC Machine application. The MAP-5 includes a TCP for 5-axis machining. TCP allows you to move the tool tip around your part in all axis, as well as during drilling cycles. MAP-FADAL This retrofit package is specifically tailored to Fadal CNC Machines. A complete retrofit on a typical Fadal takes approximately 2-4 business days. Numatix has also developed a standalone demo unit that can be hardwired to your Fadal with no hardware modifications to your machine. Depending on customer location and availability, Numatix will bring the demo unit out to your shop, install the unit on your Fadal, and show you how you can cut your cycle time in half on contouring applications. The standalone unit takes approximately one business day to install and can be taken off with no damage to your existing machinery. In addition to drastically reducing cycle time, expensive and rare replacement parts for your old Fadal controls will no longer be an issue. All hardware on the Numatix CNC Control is COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf). Numatix currently has special pricing on the MAP-FADAL retrofit package! MAP-GRINDER Specifically tailored to any CNC Grinder application. The MAP-GRINDER package includes special macros for cutting multi-surface parts, including squares, hexagons, hectagons, and many more. This package can also be used in combination with a uniquely developed CAD/CAM program for grinding thread dies in all shapes. MAP-LASER Specifically tailored to any CNC Laser application. The MAP-LASER package includes a Z-Follower. The Z-Follower function integrates the machines existing sensor (or external sensor) with the control to automatically detect irregularities in cutting material and adjust the Z-axis accordingly. The MAP-LASER package also incorporates 5-axis high speed motion. This high speed motion avoids burning of material when cutting complex 5-axis applications – unlike most controls currently on laser CNC machines, Numatix maintains a constant velocity when cutting around corners. This constant velocity does not allow the material to burn from prolonged exposure to the laser. The MAP-LASER package also allows for easy integration of automation and material handling equipment. MAP-ROLLER DIE Specifically tailored to any CNC Roller Die application With the MAP-ROLLER DIE package, you can program in the X-Y planes and wrap it up onto a cylinder with a predefined diameter. The package also includes specially developed code for cornering with a tapered tool. Numatix has successfully retrofitted several BostoMatic Roller Die CNC Machines.
